The product: A mobile app and a responsive website for a social cause. This app will act as a platform where the environmentalists can connect with people who willing to volunteer for various environment related activities.
Project duration: May 2024 – June 2024
The problem: There are many environmentalists who arrange events like tree plantation drives, rain water harvesting activities, forest conservation activities and farming related activities. These environmentalists find it very difficult to search for volunteers. On the other hand, there are many nature lovers who are busy working professionals but want to contribute to these social causes in their free time. Their main concern is that they do not get timely information about these activities as they have no connect with these environmentalists.
The goal
Create a mobile app and a responsive website using “Mobile First” approach, that will serve as a platform for all nature lovers to come together.
My role: Lead ux designer
Responsibilities: Monitor the entire project from start to end including user research, creating wireframes, lo-fi prototypes, mockups and hi-fi prototypes.
UNDERSTANDING THE USER
User research 1
In this research we interviewed environmentalists who organize various nature conserving events regularly. Most of them expressed their concern about finding enough number of volunteers. Most volunteers are working professionals and they can participate in these events only in their free time. The users agreed that it will be great help if there is a platform where all volunteers can stay connected with us and can find information about various activities regularly.
Users are struggling to share information on time with people interested in volunteering about the upcoming events.

Pain point
Users loose touch with some volunteers because of long time gaps in between the events and lack of regular communication.
