ART OASIS

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The product: A responsive website for an art museum to advertise exhibitions and events, provide museum information to patrons, and enable patrons to schedule visits.

Project duration: March 2024 – May 2024

The problem: The museum is struggling to attract patrons and visitors to their exhibitions through traditional media. Their reach is limited as they don’t have a strong digital presence.

The goal:

Create a responsive website for an art museum with top-down approach

My role: Lead ux designer

Responsibilities: Monitor the entire project from start to end including creating wireframes, lo-fi prototypes, mockups and hi-fi prototypes.

STARTING THE DESIGN

Paper wireframes

Goal: Design a desktop site for the museum with basic purpose of providing information about the museum, the events and exhibitions.

Users/patrons should be able to easily find information about the museum, it’s collection and the artists; and should be able to schedule site visit

  • Find ways to add more and more latest information to make it readily available for users.
  • Make the website more attractive by improving the aesthetics further so it appeals to art enthusiasts.
  • More creativity can be added to the design with use of animations.
